STAUNTON
DESIGN
these chess sets are made of various types of high quality wood.
The design follow strictly the dictate of Staunton model firstly
proposed by John Jaques & Son firm in London in the autumn 1849 in
honour of the homonymous great chess player. Nowadays this
design is the standard for international chess tournaments.
These are excellent for the costumers in search for a
"PROFESSIONAL" chess set.
OTHER DESIGNS
these
chess sets are made of various fine materials (not
only wood). In these works of art our handcrafters have more
freedom to complete the Staunton design with nice finishings or
to conceive new design concepts. These sets are excellent for
the costumers in search of some original chessmen or some worthy
antiques.
